  Yes I had the danishes and Shasta as well, they must've had a longstanding arrangement to buy them in bulk. It's the airplane peanuts phenomenon, i.e. the food itself isn't so great, but it is compared to the monotony of the situation.

  Agreed they probably thought it would be offensive to their fans lol, and also undermine their position in the eyes of the R&F.

  I find it offensive because no matter how many times you say 'we aren't your leader' and 'Jesus is the head', at the end of the day you cannot disagree with their current teachings lest you be ostracized, so all that humility crap means nothing in practice.

  Found it. At about 3:41:00 in the full version, after he says that the anointed are not the leaders of JWs, he says

  'we get letters from little children like we're something, (scoffing tone) "the governing body". . . (mocking tone) "you oughta write the governing body honey!" and they do, they draw pictures of us . . . but they mean well'

  Yep a JW relative of mine was just like that, multiple schemes over the years scamming for property, labor and cash in different states. Only got disciplined for it by the Elders twice, but even then he always comes back in good standing because darn it, he's just such a friendly, swell guy! 🙂

  Suit, shirt and tie

  i always hated suit, shirt and tie and wondered why men of all walks of life should be forced to wear these uncomfortable clothes and spend the money on them.

  it should be remembered some of the worst people wear them, like creepy joe, putin, dirty corrupt frauds in business, law etc.

  Same goes for mustaches. Lots of respectable people have beards, but mustaches are sometimes jokes about as a porn stache or pedo stache. Just like the skirt or necktie and jacket, no basis in reality.
